Over the past 20 years, Doc Snyder has built a successful career with expertise in sales, business development, fundraising, and also has deep experience across all facets of building a start-up, from concept to execution and full operation. Doc has had a phenomenal career with two distinct and equally exciting phases. Both provide him with unique perspectives on hiring top talent in today’s extremely competitive market.
The first half of his career was spent in Financial Services. He excelled on the distribution side of the business earning promotions based on his sales achievements with industry leaders including First Trust Portfolios and Nuveen Investments. Later, Doc moved from wholesale distribution of financial products to wealth management consultation as a Regional Sales Manager with FleetBoston, a Senior Vice President at a Chicago wealth management boutique (Lenox Advisors), and as a skilled presenter for Cannon Financial Institute. Doc both learned from and taught financial advisors, private bankers, and trust officers in the art of skilled interviewing.
During the second half of his career, Doc developed his passion project, Ballparks of America, in Branson, Missouri. A true entrepreneur at heart, Doc created the concept for this stay-and-play facility complete with 5 two-thirds scale replicas of iconic major league stadiums, 30 team suites, and 125,000 square feet of retail space. His love for youth baseball and focus on great family experiences led to the development of this premier youth baseball venue. In the process, Doc on-boarded partners, investors, and hired many employees to make the dream a reality. Finding, recruiting, and retaining top professionals were critical to his company’s success.
In 2018, Doc joined the NLP Group to leverage his business experience both in sales and ownership to help other businesses build great teams. Bringing over 20 years of professional achievement, he’s excited to leverage his insights helping companies hone and refine their hiring processes.
